Visual Arts Scholarship

Are you a high school student with special talents in the visual arts, including photography? If so, whether visual arts or photography is your focus or whether you enjoy visual arts and photography as a hobby or side project, NSHSS is excited to offer a visual arts scholarship opportunity for you to continue honing those talents and as a way to celebrate your work.

Since visual arts and photography are important ways for students to express their talents and contribute to the world through art, NSHSS is proud to offer our 2019 NSHSS scholarships for visual arts and photography. These scholarships offer students with talents in visual arts and photography funds to support their artistic pursuits and future education.

With this visual arts scholarship opportunity, high school students will have the chance to submit original work to earn scholarships in two separate categories: Photography/Digital Photography and Painting/Drawing/Mixed Media/Digital Art. The top three submissions in each category will receive scholarships from NSHSS, with USD $1,000 awarded to first prize, $500 to second prize, and $250 for third prize.

High school students looking to apply for these NSHSS visual arts awards may submit visual art and photography, including painting, drawing, ceramics, glass, sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, weaving, digital and 35mm photography for consideration. NSHSS will evaluate these submissions and choose three winners in each category: first, second, and third prize.
