2021 SUMMER SHORT PROGRAMS

Each summer term, the McGill School of Continuing Studies offers non-credit short programs that bring together students from around the world! Topics such as Social Media and Digital Communication, Big Data, Business Analytics, International Business, and Machine Learning are offered. Due to COVID-19, all courses will be delivered in a live remote-teaching format from July 19 to August 13, 2021 (four weeks). We are offering a total of four (4) short programs of 60 contact hours each and four (4) individual courses of 30 contact hours each. Social and cultural activities will be included for students to discover Montreal and experience all that McGill has to offer virtually!

INTENSIVE LANGUAGE PROGRAMS

The McGill School of Continuing Studies offers the perfect remote summer program to advance your French or English! Students will benefit from an interactive and personalized approach that maximizes skill-acquisition through tasks and discussion to prepare them to work, study, and socialize in French or in English. Students will participate in cultural exploration activities with conversation partners and community members to develop their language skills. By completing one of these intensive programs, students receive the McGill Certificate of Proficiency in French or English Language and Culture. This is also a great way to add internationally recognized credentials from one of Canada’s top universities to your resume.

SUMMER STUDIES AT MCGILL UNIVERSITY

SHORT CREDIT COURSES

Take a McGill Short Course this summer taught by remote instruction so you can learn from anywhere! McGill offers over 300 condensed summer courses open to international students throughout three sessions: May, June, and July! You can use the online dynamic calendar to explore summer courses offered by different faculties and schools at McGill University including the Faculty of Arts, Science, Music, Religious Studies, as well as Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.

MATHEMATICS SUMMER COURSE

If you are looking to make up a few credits in mathematics this summer, our new special course may interest you! McGill SCS is offering the course Topics in Foundations in Mathematics (CMSC 105) that will help you refresh your basic knowledge in mathematics. This course will start during the first week of July and will run for six weeks (2 sessions of 3.25 hours per week). The official schedule will be confirmed.
