Kat Hustedde has been teaching high school level art in Mequon, WI for nearly two decades. She believes heavily in the "growth mindset," and that all students are artists inherently but at different points on their creative journey. Kat has also taught ceramics at the university level and is a newly minted AP Art & Design exam reader. As a practicing artist in her free time, she creates in all media, citing the impossible task of picking a favorite.
Grants Awarded in 2023: NSHSS Advanced Placement (AP) Educator Grant
NSHSS is awarding five (5) $1,000 grants for Advanced Placement teachers to use for supplies, materials, field trips, or other supplemental aids to enhance the delivery of Advanced Placement courses. Any NSHSS Educator teaching an Advanced Placement course in any field is eligible to apply.
