Kim Leslie
Kim Leslie has taught science over the past 25 years for a variety of amazing organizations across the country, from indoor classrooms to outdoor wonderlands, from public schools to private schools, and for environmental non-profits. She currently teaches asynchronous online Biology, Physical Science, and Earth Science to incredible students as part of the Distance Education Department of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District in Alaska. Kim holds a degree in Evolutionary and Environmental Biology from Dartmouth College and a Master's in Teaching Science from Western Governors University. Kim loves learning as much as she loves teaching and is grateful to be the recipient of an NSHSS Conference Grant.
NSHSS is providing 1 $500 grant to be used during 2025 to help defray costs of educational conference registration, travel, and accommodations.
