Lindsay Carlino is the School Counseling Department Chair at St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is finishing up her twelfth year as a school counselor and her fourth year at SJA. Lindsay is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) in Louisiana and enjoys mentoring graduate school interns in the best practices of the profession and PLPCs that are pursuing licensure in the state. In January 2020, she was named the School Counselor of the Year for the state of Louisiana. Lindsay believes that building rapport with each individual student and incorporating the assistance of all educational stakeholders is vital to the success of her students. Lindsay is thankful that this grant will help to further her professional development and her pursuit of staying up to date with the most current practices in the school counseling profession.
