Lorraine Sparks is the current science department chair at Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School of Beaumont, TX. She has been with the school since 2015. Lorraine currently teaches pre-AP Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics with experience with pre-AP and AP Biology. Lorraine was one of the science teachers who started the STEM club and now is an advisor for the new co-sponsors.
Grants Awarded in 2023: NSHSS STEAM Educator Grant
NSHSS is providing five (5) $1,000 grants to enhance STEAM-related activities, innovation, and classroom excellence for teachers in a STEAM field. Funds may be used for supplies, materials, field trips or other resources to enhance the delivery of their courses.
