Vickie R. Reed

Vickie R. Reed is the youngest of 20 children born in Dallas, Texas. She grew up in an economically disadvantaged neighborhood of Dallas and knew that education was her way out of the environment that she currently lived in as a child. With the assistance of her parents and other siblings, she was able to focus on her studies and pursue her aspirations in life, but never forgetting that she wanted to give and lift as she climbed. She has been inspiring young minds for the past 20 years in science and conducting research and will continue to do so.
