Lauren Lynch is Head of Advising at CollegeAdvisor.com. Lauren served as an admissions officer at Williams College, directed college counseling at an elite DC-area private school, and worked for a decade at a major national college counseling firm. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Smith College, and her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University.
Chris Earnshaw has served as Director of Relationship Management at Sallie Mae for six years. Based in the upstate New York area, Chris works with high schools, colleges, and universities throughout the northeast to educate students and families on planning and paying for college. Prior to Sallie Mae, Chris served in similar capacities at KeyBank and JP Morgan Chase Bank. Chris also has extensive on-campus experience, serving as Assistant Director of Financial Aid at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island and Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York. Chris is active in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut’s State Financial Aid Associations and is passionate about helping students understand the college financial aid process and completing their FAFSAs. Originally from Rhode Island, Chris earned his BA from Rhode Island College and MBA from Providence College and now lives in Saratoga County, New York with his wife and two young children.

Mr. John H. Provost hails from Homosassa, Florida where he enlisted in the Army as a mechanic in 1983. He spent nearly 25 years in the US Army in various positions and locations. He holds a BS and MBA from Touro University. Upon his retirement from the US Army Recruiting Command in February 2008, John took a position with the 7th ROTC Brigade at Fort Knox, KY. He worked in that role until 2010 when he was selected to be the Director of Recruiting for US Army Cadet Command. It was in this role that he began working to integrate the operations on college campuses with those of the local recruiters throughout the nation. In 2016, John was selected as the Director of Incentives for US Army Cadet Command where he manages an annual scholarship budget of over $340M. He maintains approximately 15,000 scholarship Cadets each year. John has been married to the former Angela Cross for 36 years and has 3 adult children Natascha - 33, Allyssa - 28, and Jack – 22 and one grand-daughter Aaleigha - 5. Jack is currently a senior at Western Kentucky University and will commission through Army ROTC as an Armor Officer upon graduation in May 2021.
