NSHSS Nobel Week 2021

In December 2021, a select group of NSHSS members had a once-in-a-lifetime educational experience attending the annual NSHSS Nobel Week Tour. Participants traveled to Stockholm, Sweden for the festivities surrounding the 2021 Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies to experience the Nobel legacy first-hand, explore Stockholm: a world hub for sustainability and STEM research, and learn about Swedish society and culture.

I am beyond honored and grateful to have been invited to attend this year's Nobel Week tour after having two years of speed bumps (age) in 2019, and (cancelation) in 2020. With so many honorable, exclusive events such as private lectures at Stockholm's Universitet and Karolinska Institutet, sitting down with the Chargé d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy of Sweden, private tours of Sweden's most historical landmarks, I cannot miss to mention how thankful I am for those I met both on and off the tour who were able to really make my trip whole♥️ I’m so happy this once in a lifetime trip finally came to me, as it truly was such an enlightening experience, and is one I know we will never forget
