Both programs challenge students with advanced content not typically found in the high-school curriculum. Offered online in 2023, Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes courses provide an in-depth and interactive exploration of academic material. Courses are available in subjects including computer science, math, creative writing, philosophy, engineering, and more. Stanford Summer Humanities Institute, a residential program on the campus of Stanford University, offers rising high school juniors and seniors with a strong interest in the humanities an opportunity to explore the field at a college level. Students will investigate philosophical questions, and pursue research topics of their own choosing.
