For over 30 years, Columbia University’s Programs for High School Students’ Summer Immersion programs have combined academic rigor and instructional excellence with careful supervision and support. Each session, students chose one curricular option from more than 70 intensive courses for an in-depth examination of a specific subject area. The programs are open to high-achieving students in grades 9-12 and recent high school graduates.

Through the College Edge program, Columbia allows the highest achieving students in grades 11-12 and recent graduates the opportunity to take courses for college credit alongside Columbia undergrads and visiting students. Programs are open during the school year and in the summer.

In order to deliver the best and safest program for students, programs will move to online learning for 2021. Applications remain open, and students are encouraged to apply.
