Srihari Yamunan Included Among the Twenty-Five High-Achieving NSHSS Members for Nobel Week

Date: Sunday, February 9, 2020

Joining the group of twenty-five high-achieving NSHSS members who attended Nobel Week this past December was Srihari Yamunan, a senior at Piscataway High School based in New Jersey.

Srihari, who is an accomplished student athlete for the Piscataway Chiefs track and field team, is also a standout NSHSS member and natural born leader with a bright future in pursuing a career in the military.

Srihari's experience at Nobel Week was both memorable and inspiring for the young cadet. In a story by local editorial Our Edison of New Jersey, Srihari states “My favorite part of Nobel Week was listening to lectures based on physics, chemistry, and economics. I got to meet one of the Nobel Prize winners, Abhijit Banerjee.”
