Chelsea Ibezimako
Chelsea Ibezimako is a 20-year-old junior at the University of Maryland College Park majoring in Public Health Practice. Throughout her academic experience, she was a College Park Scholar in the Global Public Health cohort for her first two years at the university. She also served as a peer mentor for her fellow College Park Scholars with the pursuit of guiding them through their first year in the program. Chelsea Ibezimako participated in a semester-long exploration of her research that examined pancreatic cancer among Black Americans. Chelsea enjoys exploring public health in interdisciplinary ways and is excited to see how her knowledge and passion for public health evolve as her education continues.
