Durund Elzey II is a scholar and entrepreneur committed to making and leaving his mark on the world. He is an 18-year-old from New Orleans, Louisiana, entering his first year at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida. He plans to study business administration with a concentration in finance, hoping to attend law school and become a sports agent. Durund has a devout passion for helping others. He was a frequent volunteer and reader for the Next Generation Ministry Book Club, a national book club initiative catering to readers ages 4-10, and a youth ambassador for Youths Experiencing Success. Durund continues excelling in his studies while balancing extracurricular, entrepreneurial, and community engagement activities. He is currently a co-owner of DurMad LLC and has held positions on the City of New Orleans Youth Advisory Council and the DB Morton Summer Camp.

These activities speak to his leadership skills and community-oriented mindset. His hobbies include playing basketball, thrifting, hanging out with his friends and family, and playing video games. Durund is poised to leave a positive mark on the world, leveraging his academic pursuits and diverse interests to inspire those around him.
