Elijah Flores
Elijah Flores is a Freshman in Business Administration attending Morehouse College. He graduated from Junipero Serra High School, maintaining a total weighted GPA of 4.3 and ranking 5 out of 77 seniors in his class. He is a scholar athlete who has been competing in track and field for the last six years. He won a gold and bronze medal at the USATF Junior Olympics and became a CIF Division 4 Track and Field Champion. He proudly owns a catering business, Churro Man Can, where he caters to different events, including parties and festivals. He has been involved with many organizations that help serve his community meaningfully. One of the programs he has participated in is The Hidden Genius Project; their mission is to train and mentor Black male youth in technology creation, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills to transform their lives and communities. In this program, he learned app design, which led to him making his app. He gained more entrepreneurial tools that helped him improve his catering business, and he obtained leadership skills that were so impressive to the organization that once he completed the program, he was hired to become a Youth Educator, where he was allowed to teach the new participants all the lessons that he was taught.
