Evelyn Efron

Evelyn Efron was born to Philip and Margaret Efron in Gainesville, Florida, on October 27, 2006. She is the eldest sibling to her sister, Sophia, and brother, Henry. Evelyn subscribes to Pablo Picasso's adage, "Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life." When younger, Evelyn was intensely passionate about soccer, so much so that she played on a boy's competitive travel team. Following two ACL replacements in middle school, Evelyn had to find some way to dust off her disappointment in giving up soccer. 

She found solace in reading and art. In middle school, Evelyn was fortunate to have fantastic art teachers who taught her solid fundamentals in art and exposed her to various art mediums. In high school, Evelyn started using art to translate her feelings associated with the books she had read. She hopes to attend college through her scholarship and learn more about different art styles for expressing her emotions.
