Hanniel Rudrapati
Hanniel Rudrapati is driven by a profound commitment to healthcare accessibility. Growing up, he often heard the heartbreaking tale of his grandfather's sibling, who lost her life to a simple fever due to economic hardship in Hyderabad, India. This story instilled in him a dedication to ensuring that no one is denied healthcare because of their financial situation.
Hanniel actively sought out organizations that aligned with his mission, becoming deeply involved with Leadership Initiatives through their Public Health Internships. As a Team Lead for the International Internship Program, he spearheaded fundraising efforts and developed a community workshop on providing Yellow Fever vaccines in Bauchi, Nigeria. His work had a significant impact on the community's health, and he continued to contribute as an Assistant Director, overseeing workshops on maternal health, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Locally, Hanniel is part of Windows to Our World at Case Western, working to improve healthcare access in Cleveland. His efforts recently secured a $100,000 grant to initiate a volunteer-based clinic. Hanniel's unwavering dedication to healthcare equity, inspired by his family's experiences, drives him to make a lasting impact, both globally and locally.
