Jacqueline Mancera
Jacqueline Mancera graduated from South Pasadena High School this year and will attend MIT in the fall. She plans to study engineering to merge her programming, CAD, and design interests. Outside of academics, she has been involved in numerous community service activities, from helping run a local math tournament for elementary and middle schoolers to being a member of the teen advisory board of the South Pasadena Public Library. She has volunteered for the California youth crisis line as a crisis counselor. She has also been a fundraiser and English teacher for TASSEL Cambodia. This global organization provides food and medicine to rural Cambodian families and an English education for Cambodian children. In her free time, Jacqueline enjoys drawing, playing piano, and running.
