Kamyah Hugee

My name is Kamyah Hugee, and I am honored to have received this award! I am a 2022 graduate of Georgia Cyber Academy and I plan to continue my educational journey at the illustrious Tuskegee University. I am very passionate about animals and aspire to become a veterinarian and open a vet clinic of my own in the future. My interest in veterinary medicine began with my participation in equestrian vaulting, which is gymnastics and dance on a moving horse. Through my academic experience, I have not only persevered through rigorous work but also struggled to find my identity, who I am, and who I hope to be. I set a goal at a young age that I wanted to become a veterinarian, and ever since then, I have worked hard to further myself towards my goal. After completing my undergraduate studies, I strive to further my education in graduate school. Thank you so much for this opportunity!
