Madison Watai

Madison Watai is an aspiring writer from Calgary, Alberta. A recently graduated high school senior, Madison fell in love with the written word from a young age. She’s found joy in the versatility of the writing and how stories can bring worlds together. While most of her writing is kept close to her chest, you can find her name and work associated with various publications and awards for her short fiction and poetry. 

Outside of her writing, Madison is a dedicated student, excelling in her academics and leadership roles within her school. She credits her schoolteachers with supporting her growth as an individual and a writer. 

In the future, Madison is majoring in psychology in Canada, where you’ll most likely find her in a library or under a tree, typing away at her next idea.
