Mia Dent is a student, activist, and Gen Z Black feminist focused on furthering her education/experience in environmental justice. She has engaged in activism since middle school, including volunteering on local and state political campaigns and with local social justice organizations focused on reproductive rights and gender-based violence. Mia has represented Gen Z activists on committees in her community and on a panel addressing feminism at the Women’s Convention in Texas. Beginning in Fall 2023, Mia will major in Political Science at North Carolina A&T State University. She plans to continue her activism, including remaining on the board of the Young Feminist National Committee for the National Organization for Women.
