Mobosola Oluwafunmilayo Banjo is a junior at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, majoring in Philosophy Pre-Law with minors in Psychology and Political Science. Maintaining a 3.66 GPA, she plans to pursue a JD/MBA to become a corporate lawyer and eventually enter politics in her home country.

As an honors ambassador for the Lloyd International Honors College and vice president of public relations and recruitment for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) Greensboro chapter, Mobosola has earned recognition on the University Dean's List and Chancellor’s List. She is also a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society.

In addition to her academic achievements, Mobosola has interned as a communications consultant at the University Speaking Center and presented research at the Southern Regional Honors Conference. Passionate about learning, she loves going to classes. Outside of her academic life, she enjoys reading, singing, dancing, writing songs, cooking, and spending time in nature.

The NSHSS Bridge to Opportunity Scholarship is a bridge to graduation for college students facing financial barriers toward the conclusion of their college careers.
