Nazli Yildiz is a student who came to the USA from Turkey three years ago but accomplished a lot during her time here, winning numerous awards. Nazli is active in her community, having served more than 200 hours and achieving The President's Volunteer Service Award during her junior year of high school. She has been the secretary and treasurer of her school's Key Club for three years. She has been recognized with the Distinguished Key Club Executive Board Member award from the New Jersey State Board of Education in the 2022-23 Scholar Year. Nazli is versatile and committed, participating in various extracurricular activities such as mentoring ESL students in the Global Mentorship Program and contributing articles on Medium. Her participation in her school's NHS and RHO KAPPA National Social Studies Honor Society Program further underscores her academic prowess. It's no wonder she has been named student of the month twice by the Clifton Board of Education, once as CHS Sophomore Student of the Month in January 2023, and again as CHS Junior Student of the Month in April 2024. Nazli has a Key Club International Leadership Program certificate and continues to thrive at school with her challenging courses and involvements.
