My name is Kevin Murphy, I am attending Carnegie Mellon University and I plan to major in materials science and engineering. During my time in high school, I participated in various clubs and organizations that made me grow ethically and professionally. I have a passion for entrepreneurship and research and development, both of which I hope to pursue during college years and beyond.

The NSHSS Research and Academic Paper Scholarship recognizes students for their excellence in written academic papers as class assignments in high school, such as a research paper, an original essay, or an analytical paper.
