Victoria Karaluz is a 2022 graduate of FAU High School. She was dual enrolled in the FAU Honors College while attending high school and participated in undergraduate research. She was awarded a grant from FAU's Office for Undergraduate Research and Inquiry to work on a research project and presented her findings at the Life Sciences South Florida Symposium. During her senior year of high school, she was a student employee at her local library and a research intern at the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience. In her free time, Victoria likes visiting local parks and kayaking, spending time with her cat, and reading. She will be attending the University of Florida.
The NSHSS Research and Academic Paper Scholarship recognizes students for their excellence in written academic papers as class assignments in high school, such as a research paper, an original essay, or an analytical paper.
