Samantha Singh
Sam Singh graduated from high school at age 16 with a GPA of 4.5. She attends the University of Cincinnati to pursue a degree in creative writing to assist her in achieving her dreams of becoming a published author of young adult novels. When Sam was 4, she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and has been an advocate, mentor, and volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) ever since. In 2017, she lobbied Congress for continued funding for the Special Diabetes Program, and most recently, Sam has been an active member of the Insulin4All campaign by writing letters to Senators, congresspeople, and the President to ensure the passing of the essential Insulin For All bill. In her spare time, Sam plays the saxophone in UC’s marching band, writes her debut novel, and plays her electric guitar as loud as it will go.
