Ziv Ferguson

Ziv is passionate about the environment, conservation, and research and plans to use these passions as a Marine Biologist. In high school, they researched how dams impact their local lakes and rivers and hope to continue this work by researching the marine environment through the rest of their high school years and undergrad and grad school. Besides research, they work as a sound technician in their school theater and compete in vet med competitions. Outside of school, they practice violin, volunteer at their local library every Sunday, and am an avid scuba diver. Through Scuba diving, they have found a community in which they have a job working as a retail employee at a dive shop and managing social media for the scuba diving group that they dive with.
