Angella Andrade
Angella Andrade is a high school Director of School Counseling in Broward County, Florida, who holds a doctorate degree in Educational and Leadership from Keiser University and a master's degree in teaching School Counseling from St. Thomas University. Dr. Andrade has been the 12th grade counselor at Boyd H. Anderson High School where she is affectionately known as the “Miracle Worker” when it comes to getting the students across the stage. She is passionate about her students and works arduously to ensure that her students are mentally and academically prepared for the future. She is a mother of three who enjoys reading, watching K-dramas, and learning about different cultures.
NSHSS wants to aid educators in their positive efforts to spread awareness and affect change regarding mental health in their classrooms. NSHSS is awarding five (5) NSHSS Educators $1,500 grants to provide Social Emotional Learning (SEL) resources and curriculum to their classrooms.
