Camilla Walck

Educator of the Year Finalist
Princess Anne High School
Virginia Beach, VA

Camilla has taught for 27 years for the City of Virginia Beach City Public Schools- mostly at Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She has taught many science courses but mainly teaches in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, teaching IB biology. Camilla also teaches at Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow, which allows me to share her love of teaching with future teachers. She is passionate about getting students involved in service learning and does so often through her work while teaching spin classes at One Life Gym. Camilla wants her students to fall in love with learning and become lifelong learners with an appreciation of mental and physical health. Camilla will continue to strive to develop an appreciation for Earth's resources and the drive for the love of all diverse populations by promoting stewardship for all humanity.
