Joanna Poole

Joanna Poole is a mathematics teacher at Dallas Center-Grimes High School in Grimes, Iowa. She has 19 years of teaching experience, and has been teaching advanced math courses for the last nine years. Joanna enjoys teaching because of the relationships she forms with her students and coworkers. She is passionate about helping students succeed and allowing them to grow in their learning. She will be using this grant money to take courses that will allow her to offer classes at DCG High School for college credit through the local community college.
