I began as a high school educator and transitioned to an elementary counselor. That career was followed by more than 17 years of homeschooling including six years as the founder and coordinator of a homeschool co-op for area families. I am currently assisting local families as a consultant and tutor to navigate the public education system as these families have limited financial resources and struggle with both the English language and managing the technology required by the public-school systems. Education is power and intended to share!
NSHSS is always looking to find ways to support our network of educators, especially those who are constantly looking to support their students. To help offset the financial burden, NSHSS is awarding fifteen (15) high school educators $500 grants to help provide additional opportunities to their students and classrooms.
