Melissa Beyel is the Teacher-Librarian at the East Cooper Center for Advanced Studies. Her school offers programs and classes to prepare students for college and future careers. Melissa loves being a Librarian because she is fortunate enough to work with students and teachers of all grade levels and subjects, support curricula in creative and innovative ways, and teach STEAM skills daily in her Fab Lab.
Grants Awarded in 2022: School Supplies Grant
NSHSS is always looking to find ways to support our network of educators, especially those who are constantly looking to support their students. To help offset the financial burden, NSHSS is awarding fifteen (15) high school educators $500 grants to help provide additional opportunities to their students and classrooms.
