Morgan Vazquez, NSHSS Fellows Executive Board President, Selected to Represent Bank of NY Mellon at Harlem YMCA National Salute to Achievers
Morgan Vazquez, NSHSS Fellows Executive Board President, has been selected to represent Bank of New York Mellon (BNYM) at the Harlem YMCA’s National Salute to Achievers in Industry in New York City, on March 15, 2018. This is a prominent award and Morgan was among a number of very impressive candidates from around the company who were considered for this recognition.
The honor is a unique annual celebration that pay homage to leading corporations and their selected employees—both for their corporate leadership and community service. These individuals are highlighted as role models in communities across the USA.
Thanks to Morgan’s collaborative spirit, she has succeeded in developing flagship Pipeline Leadership programs for BNYM’s most promising young achievers, earning well-deserved recognition in the process. In addition to managing the strategic aspects of the program, she deftly plays the role of both supervisor and mentor to nearly 60 young professionals. Her leadership and integrity are on display not just at BNYM, but through her work with the breadth of causes to which she is devoted. Morgan is an all-star alumni volunteer for her alma mater, Fordham University, and is also actively involved in the Association of Latino Professionals for America where she has proudly represented BNY Mellon, and a former scholarship recipient herself.
