NSHSS will be awarding five $1, 500 travel awards to five members who have been selected to attend a special member program hosted by Stockholm University during the annual Nobel Week, at which time the Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies, the Nobel Lectures and numerous other festivities take place in honor of the 2016 Nobel Laureates. The NSHSS Nobel Week 2016 will take place December 6, 2016, through December 11, 2016. Deadline to apply and rsvp for the event: September 30, 2016.
To RSVP and apply for the grant, go to your member dashboard at https://www.nshss.org/dashboard and log in using your email address and password. Once logged in, click on the “RSVP for Events” link at the top of your member dashboard and select “NSHSS Nobel Week 2016 with Stockholm University.” Please complete your registration information and submit your personal statement. To apply for the grant, you will also need to have an educator submit a recommendation for you at https://www.nshss.org/member-benefits/recommendation-form/ by September 30.
