The Minerva School 4-Year College Scholarship for NSHSS Members

The Scholarship for Perseverance: Failure is often the first step toward success. Minerva established the Scholarship for Perseverance to identify and reward exceptional NSHSS students who have the courage and ambition to explore new things, and the resilience and maturity to learn from failure. This scholarship will cover four years of full tuition at Minerva ($40,000). To apply, simply complete the free Minerva application and denote your interest in the scholarship at the end of the application process. Macquarie University Tuition Scholarship for NSHSS Members – Deadline June 12, 2015

The aim of the Macquarie University Vice-Chancellors Merit scholarship is to offer NSHSS members the opportunity to gain a world renowned Bachelors or Master Degree from a prestigious Australian University. The scholarship is intended for use in Semester 2, 2015 (July start date).

Value: The value of the scholarship is $10,000AUD which will be a one off-payment deducted from the student’s first semesters tuition. Priority areas:

Master of International Relations

Master of International Communications

Master of International Public Diplomacy

Master of Environment

Bachelor of International Studies

Bachelor of Arts in International Relations

Bachelor of Arts in International Communications

Bachelor of Environment

Students who apply for one of more of the above programs will be given priority however; other areas will be considered. Requirements: Students must be NSHSS members, undergraduate or graduate student, and U.S. resident with a current GPA or 3.0 out of 4 or equivalent.

Tia Tula Language Study in Spain – Deadline February 14, 2015
Tía Tula Spanish School Scholarship for NSHSS Members Dates: July 5 - August 1, 2015. Tía Tula is the perfect place to learn Spanish. Situated in downtown Salamanca, Tía Tula Spanish School is a teaching center accredited by the Instituto Cervantes and specialized in organizing Spanish immersion programs abroad throughout the year. The institute is offering one tuition-based scholarship to the Intensive Spanish Language Course during four weeks. The school will sponsor the tuition of four hours daily of Spanish lessons and the arrangement of housing with a host family, which includes full board and single room, for the duration of the four-week program. AFS Study Abroad Scholarship 2015 – Deadline March 1, 2015

AFS-USA offers a $50 application fee discount for NSHSS members, as well as a $500 program tuition discount toward any year, semester or summer study abroad program. NSHSS members should use promo code "NSHSS" when applying to receive their discount. Additionally, AFS-USA and NSHSS also awards one merit-based scholarship that covers full tuition costs for any summer program, a unique opportunity worth up to $9,400. CCP College Prep Programme London and Paris – Paris Trip Scholarships – Deadline March 2, 2015

10 full scholarships of $1,200 for NSHSS high school members enrolled in the CCP College Prep Programme London & Paris for the Paris portion of the trip. Students must pre-enroll in London program to participate in the Paris trip and all members receive a partial scholarship of $300 for the Paris trip and $500 for the London portion. Apply for the Paris trip full scholarship in the member dashboard by March 2, 2015. First, apply for the London program directly at http://www.ccpcollegeprepprogramme.org/ with your NSHSS member number. This pre-college summer program offers college level courses, daily cultural activities in London, with excursions to Stonehenge, Warwick Castle, and Bath. All NSHSS members enrolled in the London program make take the optional SAT/ACT prep course at no charge.

NEW! Claes Nobel Entrepreneurial Scholar Awards for DECA Members – Deadline January 16

NSHSS is launching a new scholarship to recognize the outstanding achievements of high school scholars who are active members of both DECA and NSHSS. The Claes Nobel Entrepreneurial Spirit Scholars Award program is open to active NSHSS and DECA members who intend to pursue a college major in marketing, finance, hospitality or business. To be eligible you must be currently a high school juniors or senior with a minimum GPA of 3.5, and hold active membership both with DECA and NSHSS. Applicants may be from the U.S. or international. A total of three (3) scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded and presented to scholars at the DECA International Career Conference, April 25-28, 2015, in Orlando, Florida. Apply in member dashboard.
