Stockholm University Nobel Week Travel Scholarships
NSHSS partner Stockholm University is inviting 20 NSHSS members to participate in the Nobel Week festivities in Sweden, and NSHSS is providing $1,500 travel grants for five of those selected to travel from the U.S. to Stockholm, Sweden December 6-11, 2014. All NSHSS members are eligible to apply. The grant funds can be used for airfare to Stockholm and other expenses related to the event. Housing is not provided, but StockholmUniversity representatives will provide recommended housing locations and information. An itinerary of scheduled activities will be provided for all attendees. Participants will receive information on making travel arrangements. Students may bring one family member to accompany them on the trip; scheduled activities, however, are for students only. Travel grant recipient must also rsvp for the event in their dashboard by October 18, 2014. Recipients will be required to submit final travel waiver forms provided by NSHSS. To apply, you must rsvp in the member dashboard "events" section and also apply for the scholarship in the "apply for scholarships" section.
AFS Study Abroad Scholarship 2015
AFS-USA offers a $50 application fee discount for NSHSS members, as well as a $500 program tuition discount toward any year, semester or summer study abroad program. NSHSS members should use promo code "NSHSS" when applying to receive their discount. Additionally, AFS-USA and NSHSS also awards one merit-based scholarship that covers full tuition costs for any summer program, a unique opportunity worth up to $9,400. Abercrombie & Fitch Anti-Bullying Scholarships

Abercrombie & Fitch has launched an ongoing college scholarships program for outstanding students who have academically persevered while experiencing bullying and for those who have led anti-bullying efforts in their schools and communities.
