Study in Australia! Video Competition
Summer Study in Australia through NSHSS partner Trinity College at the University of Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia. Trinity College is making one program scholarship available for NSHSS members (program cost is AUD $1500) to cover the cost of either the Liberal Arts - Psychology, Media & Communication Program; the Leadership for Social Justice Program; or the Fine Arts Program for NSHSS U.S. or Canadian citizens in high school, ages 14-17. How to apply: https://www.nshss.org/benefits/scholarships/trinity-college-young-leader-summer-program-scholarships.

Program Dates
Liberal Arts - Psychology, Media, & Communications Program - June 30-July 7, 2013
Leadership for Social Justice Program - July 7-14, 2013
Fine Arts Program - July 7-July 14, 2013

The Young Leaders Institute program is an intensive, week-long residential program that provides exciting opportunities for students to:

  • enrich their knowledge and learn new skills
  • meet leading academics and engage in stimulating discussions on a wide range of topics
  • live and learn in a positive and exciting environment in one of the world’s most liveable cities
  • participate in an extensive program of extra-curricular activities and events
  • establish friendships and interact with other young people from across Australia and the world.

Envision EMI Youth Leadership Summer Programs
 NSHSS has partnered with Envision EMI to provide  NSHSS members opportunities to enhance  leadership and critical life skills, to travel, to meet  and network with peers, and to personally discover  careers that can define and help shape your future.  Envision EMI is offering five (5) program  scholarships covering the cost of their life-  changing career and leadership programs.  Additionally, all NSHSS members who attend the  programs will automatically receive a $200 tuition  discount. This discount is not offered by Envision  to any other groups. All NSHSS high school  members are eligible to apply, including those  graduating in 2013.

 The five leadership programs include:
 National Young Leaders Conference (NYLC)
 Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC)
 National Youth Leadership Forum on Law and CSI  (NYLF/LAW&CSI)
 National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine  (NYLF/MED)
 National Youth Leadership Forum on National  Security (NYLF/NS)
