Amaya Centeio
My name is Amaya and I am freshman at Boston University this fall. My goal in life is to become a Civil Rights Lawyer to combat the racial discrimination and injustice. My family is Cape Verdean and I grew up speaking a Portuguese Creole. I have a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and did competitive dance for 8 years. My current hobbies include reading, yoga, meditation, and boxing! I love being organized, making schedules, and time blocking. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and value building close connections with people.
