Amira Eppolito has served as a police officer for 26 years in Los Angeles. At that time, she was an investigator and leader for the last 16 years of the LAPD. Amira currently attends the University of Southern California, obtaining her Executive Masters in Leadership. She is excited to use what she learns to continue uplifting and building up her community.
Public service can take many forms: urban planning, environmental protection, emergency services and first responders, even military service and public education. The NSHSS Passion for Public Service Scholarship recognizes our high school and college members who aspire to be public servants whom are integral parts of everyday communities.
