Dinishka Dahanaggamaarachchi

I attended Michael Power St. Joseph high school in Toronto, Canada and graduated with both an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. I was a part of many extra curricular activities at my school which helped me develop my character; DECA, varsity swimming, and running our grade nine orientation camp are the ones I enjoyed the most. Outside of school, I work as a lifeguard and teach children swimming lessons at my community pool. I am also a part of the Royal Canadian Air Cadet Program where I help youth develop leadership skills and assist at various veteran legions. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Engineering Science at the University of Toronto. After completing my degree, I hope to use my skills to build sustainable and affordable infrastructure – increasing quality of life and reducing our ecological footprint.
