Jacques Hughes

Jacques is a scholarly soccer athlete with a big interest in STEM learning. He is grateful for the opportunities to conduct research focused on artificial intelligence as an AI4All Princeton University Scholar. His research centered on melanoma detection through computer vision techniques and technology policy providing inquiry and evidence on AI bias found in research and development de, algorithms, and innovation. In 2019, the NIH published his research on bioinformatics DNA sequences analyses in the National Center for Biotechnology Information for scientists to access worldwide. In 2021, he completed an internship as a teaching assistant with Columbia University’s AI4All research-based summer learning program. He aspires to improve access and inclusion in the bioscience and global healthcare fields.
