Katie Rassbach is a Junior at North High School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. She plans on pursuing a career in aviation as a pilot. Katie has received multiple Excellence in Education awards from high school teachers. In 2020 and 2021, she won the Voice of Democracy writing contest at her local VFW post. Additionally, Katie has competed at the state level in both Track and Cross Country and was named the most valuable runner for her team in Cross Country. She also received the Cross-Country 2nd Team All-State award in 2021. Katie hopes to continue her running career in college at Embry Riddle University in Daytona Beach, Florida. Katie enjoys volunteering at the Humane Association and the local food bank.
