Samuel Paez
Samuel Paez is a Venezuelan high school senior educated through homeschooling. Impassioned by mathematics from a noticeably young age, Samuel always sought to get ahead in his studies, learning algebra, calculus, and organic chemistry during summer breaks. Samuel continued his academic studies through his determined spirit when coming to the United States in 2019. He has taken advantage of many opportunities, including college credit in engineering with UT Austin and a college-level biochemistry course endorsed by Harvard. Samuel plans to study Cellular and Molecular Biology to enter the scientific field of medical research. Samuel enjoys learning music, playing tennis and basketball, and analyzing molecular structures in his free time.
