Lindy FORS
Lindy Fors has been an educator for the past 18 years, and currently works in Northern Alberta for KTCEA school division as a counselor and inclusive ed teacher. Her work has been primarily with Indigenous students and communities in both B.C. and Alberta, spanning kindergarten to adult basic education. Lindy received her MEd from the University of Calgary and recently became a master therapeutic arts practitioner. She is a passionate advocate for mental health, and is a dedicated volunteer, wife and mother.
NSHSS is always looking to find ways to support our network of educators, especially those who are constantly looking to support their students. To help offset the financial burden, NSHSS is giving four (4) high school educators $500 grants to help provide additional opportunities to their students and classrooms.
