The University of Wyoming College of Business is an AACSB internationally accredited business school. Of more than 13,000 business schools worldwide, fewer than 5% of these schools receive this accreditation. What this means for students is that we’re proven to have high-quality programs, educators, and researchers, providing a top-quality education. The students, faculty, and staff in our college work together in a tight-knit, family-like atmosphere to ensure that students gain core knowledge combined with industry experience to ensure exceptional outcomes. Our college offers more than $400,000 in scholarship every year, as well as exceptional opportunities for our students to participate in study abroad, faculty-led research abroad, or internships abroad.
The UW College of Business also has a state of the art student success center. The Peter M. & Paula Green Johnson Student Success Center is a hub for holistic student experience, supporting students from the time they enter our doors to walking into their future careers. Our full-time staff offers support to students through providing enrollment & scholarship assistance; offering integrated academic & experiential advising; and delivering career services through professional development and internship/career support.

The UW College of Business Scholars’ Program is a four year undergraduate experience for high achieving business students.
At our college, student success is our priority, and one of the ways we ensure this success is on the student experience. “For high achieving students that are coming to us with exemplary academic records, we want to celebrate those achievements,” says Taylor True, Assistant Director of Enrollment Management at the UW College of Business. “One way to do this is by inviting a select group to enjoy additional experiential benefits through involvement in this program.”
The COB Scholars Program was specially crafted to keep constant elements in mind during a student’s academic journey: networking opportunities, access to executive speakers, international application, mentorship, and a team of individuals who are available as resources. Each year provides a hallmark experience, designed to give students a one-of-a-kind education.
Students are selected to the COB Scholars Program through a holistic process that reviews academic history and application responses. Applications for the Fall 2022 cohort open in November, with final selections being made in the spring. Past students selected for the Scholars Program have showcased an average ACT score of 30.56; an average SAT score of 1338; and an average High School GPA of 3.9.
